On March 15, 2007 I took a 3 hour plane ride on a 6-seater,twin engine plane from Honolulu to Tern Island in the French Frigate Shoals and will remain for 4 1/2 months. During this time I will be staying in an old Coast Guard Barracks on the small 35 acre island. I have choosen to come here voluntarily to study the 16 different nesting seabirds here. And this is my story!
